I have always loved horses and writing, combining both passions from a young age. An avid book lover and an endlessly curious equestrian, I became an instructor and had a successful dressage career for a stint, but my path changed course once they introduced me to the world of horsemanship. This marked the beginning of a life’s work pursuing the art of Vaquero horsemanship whilst documenting my journey riding with Buck Brannaman in the UK. The success of my ‘Road to Buck’ blog has led me to write for various equestrian publications, expanding my portfolio and I am the former editor of Horsemanship Journal and Western Horse UK magazine.
I now work on a variety of projects covering a myriad of topics, from property, textiles, to overland motorhomes. Personally, beyond my magazine work, I have been published as part of the anthology 'What She Wrote', and 2022 will see the release of my first novel. When I am not working, I can be found wandering through the countryside with my two dogs. It has been known for me to 'attempt' to cook, but my skills are best kept for the wine tasting department. |
